BACK PACK PROGRAM

The Pay It Forward Back Pack Program works to decrease the child hunger for elementary students by providing nutritious and delicious meals for children in need on the weekends.  Each week representatives from our organization will work in conjunction with the schools’ food services to pack nutritious and easy-to-prepare food for children with a need.  These bags will be distributed on Fridays for students to take home for the weekend.  In previous years, our backpack program has serviced Windsor Elementary.  We are currently looking to expand our backpack program to a school in Newport News, VA and provide more food to more children in need.
